Clinical Medical Assistant Program

Train to become a Clinical Medical Assistant and step into a high-demand career where you’ll gain hands-on clinical experience and learn to assist with patient care and medical procedures, while supporting healthcare teams which will open doors to advancement in both clinical and administrative roles. 

Our two options equip students to be highly sought clinical partners for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in settings like medical offices, hospitals, clinics, urgent care centers, laboratories, and general medicine or specialty practices. We provide a comprehensive 28-week instructor-taught program, including 600 hours of classroom learning and 160 hours of clinical externship. Or choose a 22-week instructor-led Hybrid program, with an 80 hour clinical rotation. 

This accelerated program offers online classwork while only requiring on-campus skills lab four hours per week as well as an 80-hour clinical externship. Graduates are prepared for the National Clinical Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Certification. Upon passing the national exam students will also be eligible to receive five college credits through the American Council of Education at participating facilities.
